I photographed this family of Canada Geese at the same time as those in Canada Geese 1. This family had 4 goslings and formed a flock or creche with the 5-gosling family. Canada Geese families often group with other families and cooperate in the feeding and protection of all of the goslings.

Canada geese stay within a particular area when their goslings are young but move move frequently within that area to find food and keel the goslings out of harm's way.
